Intern Testimonials

"The skills I've learned during my time in the DME's social media department have been invaluable. I've learned about all the moving parts involved in managing large social media accounts like the VAs. I've been able to curate content that fits VA's standards, schedule content across multiple platforms and create professional-grade social media posts. The opportunities to collaborate with VA experts and other interns within and outside the social media department have made this experience all the more insightful and fulfilling."

"I help share Veteran stories on Instagram through transforming Facebook posts into catchy content for Instagram. The flexibility of the program has allowed me to get involved with other departments including YouTube and the Writing department. This has helped hone my skills for my internship here in addition to my academic and professional career."
