About Us

Editing Department interns refine content that the VA DME Team produce so that millions of individuals engaged with the VAntage Point blog and social media channels enjoy well-presented content. After other interns write and submit a blog post, editing interns review these posts for accuracy, typos, adherence to VA style, and Director preferences. Editing Interns will often work with the VA’s social media platforms and accordingly use Salesforce Social Studio to schedule social content across these platforms.

Tasks

  • Interns edit incoming blog posts, articles, and more content shared across VA platforms.
  • Interns practice different editing skills and go through many revisions before content is finalized.
  • Interns ensure all written work is free of any errors and inaccuracies before publishing.
