Editing

Learn more about the Editing department and the type of work the interns within the department do.

About Us

Editing Interns refine content that the VA DME Team and interns produce so that millions of individuals engaged with the VAntage Point blog and social media channels enjoy well-presented content. After other interns write and submit a blog post, editing interns review these posts for accuracy, typos, adherence to VA style, and Director preferences. Editing Interns will often work with the VA’s social media platforms and accordingly use Salesforce Social Studio to schedule social content across these platforms.

Tasks

  • Interns edit incoming blog posts, articles, and more.
  • Interns practice different editing skills and go through many revisions
  • Interns ensure all written work is free of any errors and inaccuracies before publishing

Intern Testimonials

Throughout this internship I have had the privilege to wear a lot of different hats, work in a lot of different roles and in turn work with a lot of great people. This internship has shown me my passions and it has allowed me to learn new skills that will carry me in the future!
