How to Apply

A Virtual Student Federal Service internship with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Digital Media Engagement team provides the perfect opportunity to gain practical work experience, learn new skills, and network and collaborate with a team of dedicated interns and VA employees from across the country. 

The Virtual Student Federal Service begins accepting student applications in July and mentors select applicants in August. The internship officially begins in September. Mentors generally reach out to top candidates for interviews and collaboration via email.
